As you will now know, Three Little Doves has opened its doors for business and selling home wares and many other things, we have currently working through ideas and strategies to offer a better shopping experience to our customers.
At the moment we are currently introducing a range of towels starting from Turkish bath and hand towels and moving into Egyptian towels, which are a good solution for the bathroom, not only are they a premium cotton towel they also lend themselves to a more luxurious side too. These towels are well acclaimed for their durability, softness and overall superior quality. Egyptian cotton is a longer fiber, which helps to produce a finer and smoother yarn without sacrificing the strength or quality of the fibers.
The high absorbency of Egyptian cotton keeps the towel soft even during long-term usage and makes the colors more vibrant and resistant also you would had heard the saying Egyptian cotton is the king of cotton well that saying does say a lot about the type of towel it is.
Understanding the thread count
Well basically higher the thread count the softer and luxurious it is. The main ones to look out for are:
- 120 – 180: this is the most basic range and sell for the lowest price
- 200: This is a very lightweight and thin cotton, ideal for summer weather
- 400: This is the most widely available Egyptian cotton thread count, found in most high-end hotels across the globe. Durable, softer, and cool, the comfort of this thread count is better than the lower ones.
- 600 and above: This is where ultimate luxury begins, be it towels or bed linen. Silky and durable, these are the finest products made from the best Egyptian cotton and are also the most expensive.
Get the approval
When choosing a good Egyptian towel make sure you look at the percentage of cotton that is added, now days smaller companies are looking at reducing costs by adding different types of cottons to keep costs down, countries now have to include the percentage of contents in the packets to help the person buying it to understand what they are getting.
Washing Egyptian cotton
Egyptian cotton must be washed first before being used, The reason is that this will help them become softer and more comfortable to your skin. Many times the unwashed fibers aren't as appealing feeling and people will return them because it isn't like the Egyptian cotton that they are used to. Which brings up a very important point, these sheets become more comfortable as more time passes. This is unlike regular sheets that wear down and feel worse with age. This means you can get a lifetime use from your Egyptian cotton sheets. You won't find that with standard sheets.
Every now and then we all like to experience the feel of luxury and softness, it gives a sense of pleasure and helps to relax a lot easier, so when you are out shopping next for the bed sheet or duvet cover make sure you keep this post in mind and you will be on your way to a better sleep in no time.
